Job Description :

The Administrative Assistant will be assigned to the Division for Administration Unit of OER. 


Under the direction of the supervisor, duties include, but are not limited to:

*Provide phone coverage in a courteous and manner. Answering telephone lines, transferring calls and answering the door.

*Assist with mail duties (incoming and outgoing).

*Data entry reimbursement information and the review of information for accuracy and completion.

*Respond to requests for information from employees and other State agency staff.

*Complete various tasks using Microsoft Office including Excel.

* Other duties, as directed by the supervisor.

Required Qualifications :

• Minimum of two years of experience in an office environment providing program support or administrative assistance for multiple staff with varying job responsibilities.
• Highly proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, customer service and written communications, in addition must be comfortable. answering and responding to telephone calls and inquiries in a professional manner.
• Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
• Ability to deal with multiple priorities and competing deadlines.
• Attention to detail is a must.
