Administrative Assistant
1. Acquire and maintain a working knowledge of the major objectives, programs, and activities performed by the Office of Family and Community Engagement (OFCE) as well as which employees work with each of the OFCE program units.
2. Protect confidential information and data related to the work of OFCE, including but not limited to conversation, emails, reports, documents, and correspondence between OFCE staff and the Director, Assistant Commissioner, NYSED Leadership, the Board of Regents, and external stakeholders.
3. Assist OFCE staff in drafting and sending correspondence to internal and external stakeholders.
4. Assist OFCE staff with needs related to the scanning, coping and filing of documents.
5. Maintain an up-to -date record of all incoming mail delivered to OFCE.
6. Provide excellent customer service to individuals who call the OFCE main phone number.
7. Provide excellent customer service to individuals who send emails to OFCE's general mailboxes.
8. Maintain a record of all items and supplies needed to be ordered for OFCE staff.
