You will provide administrative support including travel, purchasing, fiscal reporting, and responding to public inquiries for a group of about 20 staff. Duties include: answering incoming telephone and email inquiries to the group and distributing these inquiries for response; assisting with personnel functions including recruitment and onboarding of new staff; assisting with purchase-related work including tracking purchases, reviewing and approving invoices, monitoring budget and purchase order information; and assisting with tasks such as development of expenditure plans and reports.
The preferred candidate will have working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and Office software (including Outlook email and calendaring tools, Word, and Excel); good computer skills; experience handling telephone calls that require a high level of professionalism; excellent verbal communication skills; excellent organizational skills; ability to handle multiple tasks; attention to detail; ability to work independently. Experience in processing transactions in the Statewide Financial System (SFS) is a plus.
