The position is with the School Assessment Unit. Duties include the following:
· respond to inquiries from schools needing assistance with the school survey form;
· review the data on the surveys and flag schools needing audits and/or remedial intervention; maintain all school audit-related correspondence and documents;
· maintain computerized databases; proofread tables and graphs, and provide technical assistance to school responders;
· serve as back-up to other support staff: perform data entry; open, log and sort incoming mail; schedule meetings.
The candidate should have experience reviewing data for completeness and accuracy; experience and competence with Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint); excellent communication skills, including telephone skills and customer service; aptitude for using online (web-based) computer systems; proofreading skills and attention to detail; ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously; and general office experience.
