Financial Data Analyst

Position Overview:

Financial Data Analyst will be responsible for designing, developing and collaborating on reports/analyses within the Finance Division which will include: Job-Costing Analysis, Soft-Cost Analysis, Completion Cost analysis, and other legally-mandated reports.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Prepares financial analyses/reports using Oracle SQL, Excel, and Crystal Reports


• Develops complex queries/scripts and automates periodic reports


• Using Data warehouse and other Oracle tables, prepares presentation quality reports and analyses


• Analyzes financial data stored in Oracle Financial Systems


• Works to ensure integration of accurate and complete data sources


• Performs effective presentations on complex ideas that can be communicated in a simple straightforward manner


• Writes policies/procedures and documents methodologies used to create analyses

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, or related field


• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, advanced analytics and delivering actionable insights from data


• Understands data relationships with strong critical thinking, analytical and problem solving skills


• Strong knowledge/experience with SQL and excel
