Lead Event Worker
Saturday, September 25th
·Two (2) lead event workers ONLY
·8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
·Event set up
·1/2 hour lunch at 12:30 PM - boxed lunch provided by Tunnel to Towers
·MUST HAVE PREVIOUSLY WORKED THIS EVENT!
·Will assist Tunnel to Towers staff with managing group of volunteers working on set up
Sunday, September 26th
·Two (2) lead event workers - must be the two from Saturday - have to be available both days - split between 2 shifts
·Shifts are 6:00 AM to 12:30 PM and 12:30 PM to 6:00 PM
·Food is available at the street party during the event for workers to eat
·Clean up garbage while the event is taking place (both shifts have this responsibility when set up is done and before clean up starts) ****It is very important that the workers are cleaning up the garbage during the event. We will have a designated area where filled garbage bags that are taken out of the garbage cans can be taken to help us keep the street clean!
-Lead Event Workers will be responsible for handing out the badges and shirts to the Event Workers on Sunday morning/afternoon. There is no time on Sunday morning/afternoon for the workers to get their own badges and shirts.
All workers will need to perform strenuous labor and must be able to lift 50 plus pounds. Workers should be dressed appropriately - no sandals or flip flops. Workers should also bring work gloves.
