Licensed Practical Nurses
As a Licensed Practical Nurse under the supervision and direction of a Registered Nurse, Physician, or other licensed health care provider, you would be involved in the treatment of Incarcerated Individuals. You would administer medications and injections as required for this individual. Observe incarcerated individuals and report changes in their condition; take and record temperature, pulse, respiration and blood pressure; obtain specimens for analysis and perform other medical procedures as ordered by a physician.
Performs nursing care tasks and procedures consistent with individual treatment plans and scope of practice, to maintain health, prevent and cure illness and injury, and alleviate suffering using practical knowledge of health processes and facility procedures.
Talks to individuals, listens to their concerns and responses, and encourages them to cooperate and participate in treatment and rehabilitation activities.
Normal Shifts of 6 am - 2 pm and 3 pm - 11 pm as needed for coverage.
Covid - If vaccinated, must bring card to upload into our portal. If not vaccinated must be tested weekly by Agency approved vendor, and results uploaded weekly into the portal.
