Duties include but not limited to: evaluate physical and psychosocial status of students through a comprehensive health history and physical examination; diagnose and treat acute illnesses and injuries; manage chronic illnesses; and provide health promotion and disease prevention education. Includes treatment and diagnosis of Covid-19 in-person and via tele-health. The position requires the ability to provide high quality health care independently according to Federal and NYS laws, American College Health Association standards and SUNY Oneonta and Student Health Center policies and procedures as related to college health.
Required qualifications: NYS license for Registered Nurse and certification as Adult or Family Nurse Practitioner; Basic Life Support certificate and 3 years practice background.
Preferred: Five years' experience with a practice background in College Health, Family, or urgent care setting; and experience working with or serving diverse populations.
