Title: Occupational Therapist, Home Care


Position Type: Permanent, Full-time


Agency: New York City health system


Location: Bronx/Manhattan


Hours: (TBD)


Salary: $86K-103K plus $15,000 Sign-on Bonus or Student Loans Assistance, paid over the course of 3 years




We have 1 open role for an Occupational Therapist who is responsible for direct patient care, providing occupational therapy treatment to adult home care patients. Also responsible for coordinating plan of care with Rehab management and submitting appropriate paperwork on timely basis and abiding by all agency, state and federal rules, regulations, policies and procedures.







Required Qualifications :

  • NYS Occupational Therapy license, Palliative Care Certificate, Pediatric Specialty

  • 1 year of experience providing therapy in a healthcare setting. Home care experience preferred

  • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy required; Master's preferred

  • Bilingual skills (Spanish, Cantonese or Mandarin)

  • Customer Service - Strives to provide the best customer service at all times to internal and external customers.

  • Communication - Utilizes appropriate communication methods and style to ensure information is efficiently and effectively delivered and received.

  • Collaboration/Cooperation - Works well with others and takes actions that are most appropriate for achieving departmental and organization goals

  • Dependability/Accountability - Meets productivity, attendance and punctuality standards

  • Professionalism - Demonstrates MJHS core values, adheres to the MJHS Code of Conduct and Standards of Conduct

  • COVID vaccination is required
