Specific Skills Required for Position:


·        Bachelor’s degree preferred (not required) and at least 5 years of F/T experience in business administration or public administration with a concentration in financial management or accounting/bookkeeping. Ability to speak and understand English; Excellent written and oral communications skills; Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Suite applications: Office 365, One drive, Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, etc.; Ability to perform complex analysis; and the ability to problem solve with limited supervision. Projects are completed accurately, timely and in proper format. Professional demeanor in dealings with others.


 


 


Explain the function(s) to be performed by the requested staff member:



  • Prioritizes workflow to ensure timely completion of requirements.

  • Manage/process the requirements to authorize work within ATP Processing guidelines.

  • Manage/process the requirements to approve payment requests within the on-time performance goal.

  • Ensure accuracy of financial information maintained by A/E.

  • Ensures agency/contractual requirements and procedures are followed.

  • Adapts readily to new and changing authorization and payment processing requirements.

  • Reviews and analyzes division policies and procedures to determine their continued appropriateness to current workload needs.

  • Prepares status reports resultant of reviews/analysis.

  • Recommends and assists in the development of new policies/procedures as necessary.

  • Reviews and analyzes division policies and procedures to determine their continued appropriateness to current workload needs.

  • Adapts readily to new and changing conditions. Maintains a firm grasp of work assignments priorities.

  • Serves as a liaison among various divisions, outside consultants, and other.

  • Takes time and appropriate follow up action on issues presented by others, internally or externally.

  • Provides accurate, detailed reports to division Director on issues raised in liaison role.

  • Assists the division Director with various assigned special projects.

  • Performs related tasks.
