Job Description :
Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

• Provide guidance to CR&I team on Local, State, and Federal regulations, and policies 

• Update and maintain policy and procedure 

• Circulate updated policy and procedure guidance and templates to CR&I staff 

• Draft templates and identify data required for Program memos 

• Review applications, project approvals, and SRA amendments 

• Manage storage of templates, procedure guidance, and Policy and Procedure Manuals for the Program 

• Identify and escalate Local, State and Federal regulations, or policy-related issues to Policy Deputy Director 

• Provide training to CR&I staff on Local, State and Federal regulations, and policies 

• Support Policy Director and Deputy Director in public-facing report completion as needed
Required Qualifications :
• Bachelor’s degree required with demonstrated knowledge of disaster recovery, climate change adaptation, resiliency, environment, and/or infrastructure 

• Minimum of one (1) year of work experience in policy analysis or a closely related field 

• Two (2) to three (3) years of combined experience in a defined field of expertise (e.g., Grant Management, Program Management, CDBG or other Disaster Recovery expertise, business process re-engineering) preferred 

• Must have technical writing, presentation development, and research skills 

• Highly proficient in MS Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Outlook 

• Exceptional communication, organizational skills and attention to detail 

• Excellent report writing, analytical, editing, and proofreading skills 

• Ability to handle multiple and sometimes changing, tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
