Hours: Mon.-Fri. 8:00am-4:00pm/ 8:30am-4:30pm

Job Description
Our client, a “NYS agency focused on services for individuals with developmental disabilities”, is looking for a Procurement Assistant to work directly under the Assistant Director of Contracts and Grants.

Candidates must demonstrate the ability to meet deadlines, organize efficiently, and adapt to changing tasks and handle multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in review and organization of various solicitations, contracts, and grants.
• Schedule meetings and monitor several email mailboxes.
• Perform a wide variety of activities associated with contractual and administrative services.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

Required Qualifications

• At minimum an Associate's degree, Bachelor's degree preferred (recent graduates with less than full time experience are encouraged to apply.)
• Employment history of at least 2 years (office experience preferred, not necessarily required.)
• Excellent writing and analytical skills, strong communication and organizational skills.
• Experience with Microsoft applications.
