RISC Social Resiliency Program Manager
New York State Agency seeking Program Manager
Position Summary
The RISC (Resilient Investments through Support & Capital) Resiliency Program Manager would create a central point of contact for the RISC portfolio that would serve to develop new social resiliency programs, support existing partnerships/programs, and report on progress and goals accomplished. The RISC Social Resiliency Program Manager would report to the Senior Director of RISC as well as the Director of other programs they support. The RISC Social Resiliency Program Manager is intended to support the LWTB Social Resiliency Programs with Hofstra and Seatuck, as well PHA initiatives with Enterprise, Wegowise, and specific program items for NDR. This will allow RISC to enhance focus and concentration on higher effort programs that represent a small budgetary percentage of
the overall grant but have high impacts in the communities where they are implemented.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Work with the communities north of Hempstead Lake State Park (Village of Hempstead), New York State Parks, and other community stake holders to develop and implement a $500,000 social resiliency program through LWTB to be developed in 2022 and implemented in 2023. This position will oversee the entire program from development through implementation and report to the Senior Director of RISC on progress.
• Work with Hofstra and BOCES to continue and extend LWTB Workforce Development Programs and develop reports to capture the number of individuals trained, jobs secured, ext.
• Work with Hofstra to enhance organization and delivery of program deliverables including both budget and schedule and monitor progress of programs and report to the Senior Director.

• Identify opportunities to share Seatuck wildlife surveys with the public.
• Work with external partners to implement a long-term monitoring plan for LWTB.
• Manage and Coordinate with Enterprise: o Development of Lessons Learned Report o Conduct and hold final learning collaborative with public housing authorities • Tracking for adherence to NDR Quantitative/Qualitative Values • Coordination with public housing sites on tracking utility usage in Wegowise
• Other Tasks as required.
• Bachelor’s degree or higher and at least 5 years’ experience
• Experience with Public engagement
• Project management experience
• Experience serving historically underserved communities
• Working with external partners and stakeholders
• Ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders with limited supervision
• Ability to identify, develop and implement a program within grant guidelines and available budgets
• Creating reports, summaries, and materials as needed
• Other assigned duties as required
