Job Description:



  • The proposed candidate will be responsible for collecting, maintaining the dissemination of vendor performance data, coordinating all activities relating to responsibility hearings and other vendor associated meetings.

  • This position is responsible for data review ensuring that vendor background checks are performed for prime and subcontractors and are accurate, complete, and timely.

  • The Consultant will interact with multiple departments/divisions and corporate firms/entities to collect and disseminate information relating to vendor qualification and performance-related issues, ensuring timely completion, integrity, and daily availability of vendor performance data.

  • Interact with multiple departments/divisions and corporate firms/entities to collect and disseminate information relating to vendor qualification and performance-related issues.

  • Ensure timely completion, integrity, and daily availability of vendor performance data.

  • Work through integration with multiple departments/divisions and corporate firms/entities.

  • Provide services and resources as needed to support the vendor background checks of vendors for various MTA projects.


Required Qualifications :

Requirements:


  • BA/BS from an accredited college in finance, business or public administration, accounting, journalism, engineering, operations research, economics, or a related field.

  • 5 years of experience and two years at the managerial or supervisory level; or satisfactory equivalent of education and experience

  • Experience in database management, along with knowledge of computer software including, MS Office, particularly Access.

  • Experience in conducting data searches utilizing public databases such as Westlaw, Lexis/Nexis, and Hoovers.

  • Experience in managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

  • Strong analytical, quantitative, and supervisory skills.

  • Ability to communicate effectively with all staff levels as well as provide executive briefings as required

  • Excellent written and communications skills.
